One of my favorite diners in Manhattan. Packed, old school, and consistent quality. Order a patty melt deluxe -- juicy patty, crispy fries on the side -- and thank me later.

My friend and I stopped by here on a Wednesday night. We didn't order all that much (soup, coffee, egg cream), but everything was good and the waiters didn't mind us loitering. Classic diner vibes! I would definitely come back.

Used to come here when i was in the police academy 10 years ago and glad to see it's still a no nonsense old fashioned NYC diner! I would get a breakfast platter with pancakes bacon and eggs and it always hit the spot. Service was always speedy and prompt which was great because we were on timed lunches.

Prototypical little greasy spoon diner. The kind of place quickly disappearing from NYC . The usual breakfast and burgers just as you would expect. Stop by!

What a great find! Joe Jrs is an old school diner. You walk in, and you're back in the 50's (or 60's or 70's). The place is much smaller than I expected, but we were there at an odd hour (4 pm on a Sunday), so there was no problem getting a seat. My husband and I both had chicken souvlaki platters. Service was really fast, and good. Food was excellent. When in that neighborhood, I'd definitely go back!

No nonsense old school diner! Get your greasy spoon fix! Sit by the counter and get it served just the way it's always been done. The place isn't a looker but it's the food that matters.

I've been coming here for years, they are renowned for their absolutely delicious hamburgers. Their burgers remind me of my mother in laws whose were divine. I've had burgers all over the city and Joe's for sure ranks up there in the borough. Joe's has a diner counter if the place is packed, there is also outdoor seating on a nice day out. They have a typical diner menu if you didn't come for the burgers, the staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate anyone who might be picky. The bathroom is clean and the prices are reasonable for Manhattan, oh and try the onion soup!!
